And I certainly couldn’t afford to buy more than a loaf of bread (delicious by the way and their baguettes are made themselves from their own home-grown flour) from there very often. I can’t resist the loveliness though and I do think you can’t fault the quality of all the food they produce themselves – the lovely creamy milk from their cows goes straight from milking into the dairy to make cheese, I like the way they’re keeping a lot of older breeds of animals farmed and the produce from their own market garden is great.

I hated it when I visited – it felt like Harvey Nichols in the countryside – very odd. I won’t list my complaints but they were many. Will look at the courses as it would be good fun in the summer.
Love the idea of colouring marshmallows with beetroot.
